Sacred Sanctuary - QUEEN ANNE'S LACE Storm Flower Essence 50ml

In the two daylight hours this essence sat outside beneath the rose bush, three unanticipated storms rolled over and out. Queen Anne’s Lace grows so tall, along roadsides and fences, denoting the edges of chaos and order. Her tall, strong stems bend and dance furiously with fierce winds, and yet she comes out unscathed and enlivened. While the stems protect the livelihood of the plant as a whole, keeping the umbel of flowers upright, the umbel itself protects the small, blood red stigma resting in the centre, held by dozens of beautiful little white flowers. Finding ourselves suspended in moments in between of not knowing where the chaos begins and the peace ends, perhaps we may discover that these two things are not so unrelated as once thought.

When working with the Tarot, Queen Anne’s Lace can open pathways when working with the Two of Swords, the Page of Swords and the Wheel of Fortune. It could be seen as an antidote to The Tower or Seven of Swords - for when we ‘become’ the storm, we are better able to mitigate it’s threat to us. In ritual, the Queen Anne’s Lace can be used when circumstances are not ideal, but a card must be pulled, a petition must be spoken, or a spell must be cast anyway. Supportive with work that requires deep surrender, or a fuller understanding of turbulence that troubles you.

USE & DOSAGE INSTRUCTIONS

Internal Application: Flower Essences can be taken internally in drop doses, and is recommended at seven drops twice daily for lasting effects and facilitating deeper change, while seven drops as needed offers a more temporary or transient shift towards the gifts and expressions of the essence. It can be taken as often is needed in acute instances such as for anxiety or stress relief.

External Application: Used topically you can add a few drops to acupressure or pulse points such as the wrists, neck, or third eye. It can also be added to creams, baths, altars, or used for ritual practice.

BIRTH & CREATION INFO

Created on 14.11.2021 between 2-5pm, on Sol’s Day and during the Hours of Mars, Sol, Venus and Mercury. Sky notes: Pisces rising and Moon conjunct Neptune, with the added influence of Mars in Scorpio. During it’s infusion, three little thunderstorms passed over and left, with sunshine streaming between them. Infused in storm collected water.

Queens Anne’s Lace is historically considered a safe and edible herb, though has traditionally been used to prevent pregnancy. While Flower Essences are energetic and don’t carry the same physiological power as herbal medicines, it is worth considering not using this essence if you are attempting to conceive or are currently pregnant or breastfeeding.
